BTEC Assessments and Grading

BTECs are assessed through a combination of tutor marked assignments and external assessments which are set and marketed by the awarding body.

BTECs use the following grading structure: P (Pass), M (Merit) & D (Distinction). If submitted work doesn’t meet the set standards, it’ll be awarded a U grade which means Unclassified.

As well as BTEC Sport we provide a variety of exciting activities to help support and promote the students’health and well-being, as well as providing them with new opportunities.

All the P.E activities are based on the children’s own ideas and interests.

During regular Student Voice sessions we discuss and encourage their opinion and what they would enjoy doing. This helps to make sure that engagement is high and they enjoy participating.
